But the raw gameplay still holds up and has not changed a single bit. Overall, Bloons TD 6 Is an action tower defence game which still has the same charm as all the previous installments which made all us gamers fall in love with this tower defence genre years ago but after all the various skill trees, new bloon types and new maps, after all that, the game really doesn't, no can't have much more to offer. The soundtrack made me want to stay on the main menu screen forever just listening to the masterpiece of a song. The soundtrack is majestically composed by Tim Haywood and gives a nostalgic feeling even though the game is still relatively new. I would like to mention something not many reviewers or players have talked about. I could but will not find myself talking about all the various achievements, rewards, special events, gorgeous cartoonish 3d graphics, daily/advanced challenges, and the great gameplay Bloons TD 6 has to offer. This game has so much and so less to offer. There is a vast amount of different knowledge upgrades to be unlocked and explored which definitely is a fun experience. I found myself increasing my tack shooters attack speed and having my dart monkey have one more layer popping power. Monkey knowledge allows players to unlock special changes to gameplay. What I liked is that there are separate XP lots, not just XP you gain by playing which can be used to unlock towers abilities. In Bloons TD 6 you will have to unlock many of the upgrades of all the towers by using them more. Going through the game, it didn't have much to offer, the overall game seemed plain but I rapidly forgot about that as its gameplay made me forgot completely about the games overall bareness. There are now new maps but it seemed limited. I really got excited unlocking new heroes and testing their abilities and unique functions and roles. There are now new heroes which are powerful towers which will upgrade themselves during play. To say it simply Bloons TD 6 follows the same gameplay mechanics as its previous installments and adds an extra layer of charm to the fun Bloons TD popping genre. The previous installment was fun and well-made and I was really looking forward to playing this game. The previous installment was fun and well-made and I was really looking forward to playing this game. We set out to make this big, inspired by Bloons Monkey Citys instanced six player, single challenge framework but pushing it to be truly next level for BTD6.
